The college has a Central Library containing books pertaining to the various courses of study in this institute as well as a limited number of books of general interest.
The library follows an 'Open Access System'. The library is kept open on all weekdays between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm
Book Issue Timing: 10.00 am to 3.00 PM
The Library intended for the use of students, faculty members and staff of this college.
Library users shall sign in the register before entering.
Strict silence must be maintained in the library.
Personal belongings are not allowed inside the library.
Students are not permitted to sit in the library during their Class Hours and Practical Hours.
CONDITIONS FOR ISSUE OF BOOKS
Book will be issued by the Librarian only after producing the Student's Identity Card.
On receiving a book, the student must satisfy himself/herself that the book is in good condition. If not, the student must immediately bring the fact to the notice of the Librarian, failing which that student, to whom the book is issued will be responsible for the defects and damage found on the return of books.
Periodical publications, Dictionaries, Encyclopedia, and other reference books will not be lent out.
Under special circumstances, the Principal may refuse to issue the books or recall the books already issued to any member without assigning any reasons.
PERIOD OF LOAN FOR BOOKS TO THE STUDENTS
The books taken out on loan should be returned within 5 days by the students. The due date will be stamped in the books slip pasted on the back page of each book.
Absence for the college will not be accepted as an excuse for the delay in return of library books.
If the due date falls on any holiday, from the library the next working day will be taken as the due date.
In default of the punctual return of the books on the due date, a fine or Re.1 per working day will be levied.
The students who fail to pay the fine for late return of library books will not be allowed to borrow another book from the library until the amount is paid in the library.
Books that are in special demand may be lent only for a short period as may be necessary and books lent out may be recalled at any time if required without assigning any reason.
