LEVEL-1 : CA FOUNDATION

NOTE:

1 : Register for the Foundation Course on or before the 1st day of January or the 1st day of July for the examination to be held in the months of May / June or November / December respectively

2 : Passing Percentage : 40% in Each Subject and Aggregate  50%

3 : Paper Number 1 & 2 are Descriptive Type and Paper Number 3 & 4 are Objective Type (MCQ) with Negative Marking.

4 : Examination : Every year in January, May, September.

The subjects of Intermediate Course are classified into two groups which a student can study and appear in the examination group-wise or both the groups together.

To get the All India Rank , a student has to appear for both the Groups simultaneously either in May or November in a year.

The subjects of Final Course are divided into Two groups (GP-I & GP-II) and a student may appear for the Exam either of the Groups or Both the Groups in Single Attempt. To get the All India Rank , a student has to appear for both the Groups simultaneously either in May or November in a year. There is no limit for number of Attempts in any exams.

LEVEL 1: CA FOUNDATION

Entry Level – After 12th Standard (Any Group)

The CA Foundation exam is the first step in the Chartered Accountancy course. Students from any stream (Commerce / Science / Humanities) can join after completing Class 12 from a recognized board.

Eligibility for CA Foundation

  1. Passed Class 12 (HSC) from any recognized board
  2. Students can register immediately after 10th but can write the exam only after 12th
  3. Must register with ICAI before the cut-off dates for the chosen attempt
